Aaron Klosterman founded Klosterman Construction with the intent of providing superior homes to families throughout the area. In 1999, Aaron incorporated Klosterman Construction and has been proudly building beautiful custom homes ever since.

Aaron Klosterman - Owner

Aaron is the master mind of Klosterman Construction. He started this business 20 years ago. When Aaron isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his wife Brandy and their two children Kaitlyn, 17 and John, 15. He is also an avid outdoors-man and enjoys hunting and fishing.

 

Wade Long - Foreman

Wade has worked with Aaron a combined 15 years and has been with Klosterman Construction since 2006. He is the glue that keeps this business together. In his free time Wade enjoys working on old cars. He and his wife reside in Coralville with their 2 sons.

 

Lane Boyer - Foreman

Lane has a bachelors degree in construction management and has worked for Klosterman Construction for 5 years. Lane is a multi-talented carpenter in finish carpentry as well as framing, but his best skill is equipment operating. His biggest attribute to Klosterman Construction is his work ethic and his strength. Lane and his wife, Hannah, recently welcomed their first child Clayton.

 

Steve Klosterman - Trim Carpenter

Steve is Aaron’s father. He was a lifelong farmer, but during a stint in the 80’s farm crisis he decided to work for a local building company. At that time Aaron was 5 years old and was enamored with the work that his father was doing. 30 years later Klosterman Construction was born. In 2005 after a short time in retirement he decided to join Aaron in the trade that originally inspired him.

 

Jake Masterson - Framing Foreman

Jake has worked for Klosterman Construction for 3 years. He is an avid outdoors-man and enjoys fishing and hunting. Aaron built his parents home in early 2000 when Jake was a teenager. Aaron takes a lot of pride in Jake being with this company.

 

Pablo Cabrera - Trim Carpenter

Pablo has worked for Klosterman Construction for a total of 9 years. Pablo is actually a CPA accountant but enjoys woodworking. When he’s not working he likes to travel the world and spend time with his wife Alyssa and their 2 daughters: Bianca, 8 and Lidia, 5. He also enjoys building custom furniture.

 

Scott Irwin - Framing Carpenter

“Scottie” has worked at Klosterman Construction for 4 years. He comes to us with a B.A. in physical education from Iowa Wesleyan University. He likes to keep the mood light at our jobs and typically has a nickname for everyone. If you need to know anything about sports, Scottie is your guy. He grew up in Kauai, Hawaii and now lives in Hiawatha with his wife and their 3 kids.

 

Tiffany Meeker - Office Manager

Tiffany has worked for Klosterman Construction for 3 years. She is our go to gal, more than an office manager, she helps coordinate many other aspects of this business. Tiffany has an interior design degree and enjoys the creative side of her job. She and her husband Adam live in Tiffin with their 2 year old daughter Ellie.

 

Doune Alderdyce - Carpenter/Remodel Specialist

Doune has worked for Klosterman Construction for 3 years. He holds a degree in construction management and worked along side his father in a remodeling business for 6 years before joining our crew. He is a multi-talented Carpenter and has become our remodel specialist. He has the attention to detail that our quality of work requires.

 

Tim Saylor - Trim Carpenter

Tim has been building fine homes in the corridor since 1975 and a proud member of the Klosterman team since 2016.  He resides in Iowa City where, with his wife Kathy, they raised their son James. Tim is a combat veteran and a Command Sergeant Major (retired) US Army. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Iowa. Outside his love of building, Tim enjoys canoeing, gardening, blues music, woodworking, and golf.

 

Eddie Conrad - Framing Carpenter

Eddie has been with our company for 1 year. He went to Upper Iowa University and worked in concrete and conservation management before coming to Klosterman Construction. He also traveled across the US working with the Forest Service. Eddie enjoys being outside fishing and hunting. He is originally from Sigourney but now lives in North Liberty.
